Just installed, can’t log in

    I just installed wordpress on my site yesterday and was very happy. today i tried to log in to start working on it and apparently my username does not exist and I just can’t log in.

    i’ve just had to create another account now in order to write this post – confused! help! HELP!

  • “This post” – you mean to post to the forum?
    Your login here has NOTHING to do with your own wordpress installation.
    During the installation you were given your username (admin) and a password. Use those for logging into your admin interface.

    Hi there,
    During the installation process, I didn’t (for some reason – my fault, of course) get given a username and password… So I can’t log-in to the ‘admin interface’… I can log into my FTP server which the thing’s hosted on, but not the WP admin interface…

    my url is (supposed to be!) https://fruitfulfaith.net…

    what (probably obvious thing) am I missing?
