The error you’ve encountered is likely unrelated to past issues, considering most users can connect their PayPal account smoothly, and as demonstrated in this setup video. However, it’s worth noting that PayPal is currently testing a new unified onboarding flow, which isn’t finalized yet and might be the reason for the trouble you’ve faced. One giveaway would be if the signup flow visuals differ from the ones in the setup video. Unfortunately, these interim issues are beyond our control as PayPal is rolling out these changes to a small number of users.
Should you encounter any difficulties with the automated setup, you always have the option to input your API credentials manually.
