I am trying to allow visitors to donate without having to be logged in, is there a way to do this in settings?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hi @ep0ch,
Glad you reached out. You can find the settings for that required login by navigating to Donations > All Forms and clicking “edit” under your donation form. On the left-hand side you’ll see a tab for Form Fields. Click that, and you’ll find the option for requiring registration and login: https://imgur.com/UyRmAk2

Give this a look and let me know if you have any trouble. I’m happy to help with any questions about this.

Last question though… My client wants to integrate cashapp, zelle, etc is there ways to do this with WP Give?

    Hi @ep0ch,
Great question! At the moment those integrations aren’t supported, but we do have a feature request for Zelle here: https://feedback.givewp.com/feature-requests/p/givewp-should-integrate-with-zelle-pay. I’m linking your ticket to that request so we can follow up with you once we have a resolution.

Depending on your level of comfort with coding (or your willingness to hire a developer), we have a developer level tutorial for creating a custom payment gateway add-on that might give you some rails to run on: https://givewp.com/documentation/developers/how-to-build-a-gateway-add-on-for-givewp/

I do see Stripe supports an integration for CashApp: https://stripe.com/docs/payments/cash-app-pay

And that’s something you’ll want to watch for! Our teams are knee-deep in working on GiveWP 3.0, which is a very big release planned for early summer. You can read the latest and sign up for updates here: https://givewp.com/lps/next-generation-donation-forms/.

In 3.0, all Stripe integrations will be available to all users through the Stripe dashboard – which may be of particular interest to your client. If you are interested, we are testing the beta plugin right now, and you’ll find the zip file for that at the link I sent along. If you opt to test with the zip file, make sure you use it on a test or staging site only, it is not intended for live sites just yet. It’ll give you a good look at some of the new features we are planning.

Let me know if you have other questions here, I’m happy to help.

    Hi @ep0ch,
It looks like we have you all set here, so I’ll mark this as resolved for now. If you still have questions, you can send them along here or create a new ticket and I’ll be happy to hop right back in! Have a great day!
