It is actually not that bad

I played around with it, and it is quite usable, especially because we can add custom blocks easily.
I just hope for 2 things when it will be forced into the core:
– it can be disabled easily and selectively (by post type). it is very good for the POST or the PAGE post type, but maybe not for custom ones that need rigid data structures with valued stored in separate database cells
– it won’t conflict with custom fields and custom post types, for people not using wordpress as a blog tool, but as a cms many times with separate dedicated tables for custom field data.
