• Highly disappointing to come across yet another carousel plugin that wants to charge you for basic functionality like adding a link to logos. The option is even there in the settings, it just blocks you from being able to use it, rendering the plugin useless for me (and I’m sure many others).

Wordpress (and plugins) was initially created to be free, it’s so disappointing to see so many developers out there monetising the platform.

    Hi @goldenagemedia,

    Thanks for your feedback.

It seems that you’re disappointed with the plugin’s limited features. We agree that the lite version has limited features but you can create an attractive logo showcase with the features which are given in the lite version without the pro features. Please check out our demo page (see first 3 lite version logo carousels demo).

This Logo Carousel plugin is being actively used by 20,000+ users. Of course, they found it useful. We got already 96+ five stars. Most of the reviews are because of the easy-to-use, useful, and support. We are continuously working to improve our plugin and give the best experience to our users. If you have any feature request, please contact us mentioning your feature request.

Giving a bad review to a plugin for the limited feature is really unfortunate as it is a lite version. The Pro version is to maintain the developers’ cost so that we can keep continuing contribution to the community.

As the plugin didn’t harm your website, we hope that you’ll consider revising your reviews to inspire us so that we can make it full of advanced features our valuable users want. Wish to set up the plugin if you cooperate with us.

    Have a nice day!

That’s one of the main problems, your “lite” version is so heavily limited that it’s almost useless, and you expect people to have to pay US$31.90 per year just to be able to add a simple link to logos. I’m a programmer myself, I know how easy this is to add to the plugins functionality. Heavily limiting a plugin for financial gain on a free open source platform is really unfortunate also.

I found another plugin that allows you to add links for free, so problem solved.

    Hi @goldenagemedia,

Thanks for your prompt reply. We really appreciate that. As we explained above, though the lite version has limited features, you can still create separate carousels with the logos. So far we understand that you are looking for a plugin that allows you to add links to logos. Yes, you are right that the functionality can be added easily. But except that we have kept a few other features in the lite version which may not be available in other logo-related plugins.

You also mentioned the yearly renewal price of the premium version of the plugin. I would like to inform you that users can disable the recurring option on their own. If any user doesn’t want to renew the plugin they can turn off the subscription from their account. Premium features of the plugin don’t depend on the plugin renewal subscription. After canceling the subscription a user can still use all the premium features and the plugin will work the same as before.

All in all, it is really heart-breaking when someone directly gives a bad review. If you could contact us before writing the bad review we can give you a solution. We never dishearten our clients.

    Your understanding would be appreciated.
