To his credit, the developer took onboard my concerns and addressed them immediately.

The plugin works beautifully and is actually very intuitive to use.

    Great work.

    =======================
So, the instructions are not that clear, but even if I could decipher them I’d get nowhere as on the top of each page there’s a nag:

“You are just one step away – Complete “Smart Variations Images” Activation Now”

    clicking it does nothing,

there’s an opt-in button, clicking it does nothing

Add the images, and guess what … nothing.

    Hi,

    Thanks for the review.

Correct I have to update the instructions this version I still did not have the time, but the video should help on the process.

    So, just for input:
    1. You activated ReduxFramework Plugin?
    2. You went to WooCommerce > SVI and enabled the plugin to work on the front end?
    3. Setup the product, did you watch the video?

    Cheers,
    David

    Hi,

No, I did not activate the ReduxFramework. I appreciate your quick response, but seriously, if you want people to start installing frameworks on their installation then you could at least warn them that this is part of the process, and furthermore explain what it is and what it is doing.

You might want to think about making that part of the installation process clear so that people can make an informed choice about what software runs on their site. Especially given that they may have to account for what happens to user data(GDPR) and security.

    Hi,

Regarding RGPD (and im ruled by it) privacy and collection of data, no data is collected without user consent.

Regarding the Framework, I never thought of that since is widely used across themes and plugins to manage the themes/plugins options. Probably your theme uses a panel of sort.
At least I require the user to install, where other just bundle them up and you dont even know.

My plugin after activation should mention on the top that Smart Variations Images requires ReduxFramework, if it doest say that, than I have to debug it.

But I will include that mention on the next realease.

Thanks for your info, I allways depend on users for their feedback so that I can improve. I believe that’s one of the reasons my plugin is trusted by so many.

    Cheers,
    David
