Just a quick simple question.

  • I am going on vacation for a few days and was thinking about putting comment moderation up while I’m gone. Will it hold all (an unlimited number) of comments until I get back? It could be about 100 or so.

    I’m sorry if this is written somewhere, I’m just not able to find it.

  • It should. I’ve never had that many comments in queue, but I would think there would be no problem.

    The reason I ask, is because I noticed it only holds 20 comments for editing, so if you can only edit the latest 20 I thought I better check if you could moderate more than that.

    I couldn’t find anything in the codex that defines how many comments the queue can hold, but I would think that after you moderate those first 20 that the next 20 would appear on the page. There is a plugin I’ve seen — perhaps on https://wp-plugins.net — that allows you to browse through comments with next/previous links, like you browse through posts and pages.

    Thank you for that. A plugin like that seems helpfull. For now I will go on vacation and see what happens, I will let you know how it works! Thanks for your help.
