• The plugin offers a demonstration how it can be set up. But the general options can be changed only in pro version. Therefore you cannot “test” various settings.

I removed it due to this limitation

  • Dear pixel24,

Thanks fro your feedback! We are sorry about your experience. We value your opinion and appreciate your honesty.Let us mention kindly that the Slider plugin has a massive list of features that are available in the free version and we can’t be more than proud and happy to share it within the community. Original Slider was created for the repository and we never intended to have it as a “demo” slider. For example, users can create unlimited number of slides and sliders in free version, most of the free plugins in the repository limit the number of slides and sliders normally. You may aso find the following options in free version: title, description, URL support as well as advanced options for sliders including weight, height; 15 effects, pause time, speed control, positioning, navigation tools. We believe the list is pretty much competitive, when you compare with other free slider solutions. Besides, the plugin is fully responsive in the free version and supports shortcodes for posts and pages as well as themes. Plus, with the free version you get free customer support, we are happy to connect with any live chats to help as well as suggest solutions in forums. We try to do that in 24 hours. Hope you have fond a proper slider solution. Good luck with your project and have a great day!

Thank You for coming back with a brief reply.

Only offering “unlimited” slides still does not show the full power of the plugin as long as the options are disabled. Each slider looks the same, so why should i created “unlimited” sliders?

I would prefer a limitation in the number of sliders (who needs really unlimited) ad having the options open for changing.

    But only my humble opinion.

    Thanks for your opinion, pixel24.

It is important for us to receive feedback from the community. Let us assure you that we certainly will consider your review in our next meet up with the team, when discussing the Slider plugin. In the meanwhile, feel free to email us at [email protected] and name the options of the Pro version you most likely wanted to use in Free version. We will give a try and make a free customization for you, if possible. Thank you again and have a nice day!
