• I love the plugin and hope to use it. We’ve been using a “jump to bottom” button which jumps to the “Make a comment” form at the bottom of the page. Users love it. Are there any plans to add such a button? It’s really just the flip side of the jump to top button except that the bottom is where you leave comments, not the true bottom of the page/where the footer is.

Hi, thanks for trying my plugin!

A “jump to bottom” is not a very common feature in my experience, because it’s not as standard as jumping to top.

Whereas a jump to the top usually means all the way to the top (so it’s pretty generic, and usable for many sites), jumping to the bottom doesn’t really go all the way to the bottom, as you described above. For some sites, jumping to the bottom is a commenting form, for other sites it’s something completely different.

Not every site has a commenting form at the bottom either, sometimes it’s in the middle of a page.

All this to say that there’s not really a generic method for jumping to the bottom, so there are currently no plans to add that to the plugin.

You could look into plugins like “Scroll to ID”, that one may do what you’re looking for.
