Jump links and front page nothing to display error

    1. I would like to display the header and footer only for the front page because I don’t want to put any content on the front page. Right now it is giving me an error because I have nothing to show there, and I can not delete the body entirely because I still want it for my posts.

    2. Because my header image so large, I would like to have it so that when I click a menu item, it takes me lower down the page, specifically, so that the secondary menu is across the top now. I have read up on jump linking but I can not figure out where to put the code and how to reference etc.
