• According to GTmetrix analysis, the JSON+LD code Yoast adds in the middle of the head appears to block parallel downloading, effectively slowing down the entire website. Is there a reason this code can’t be placed in the footer instead? If not, is there a way to at least move it to the very end of the head after all other assets? Thanks.

  • Additionally, can it be disabled completely? We spent some time several months ago crafting our ld+json data only to find Yoast is now adding it. We’d prefer to use ours and prevent Yoast SEO from duplicating out efforts w/ data we don’t want.

    UPDATE: It can be disabled.
