Dear members of the support forum,

I am trying to move a website from 1 domain to another using Duplicator. This might be relevant: the new domain is at a different hosting provider.

At Step?1?of 2: Deployment, I get the following error:

    ERROR:
json value isn’t an array VALUE: NULL

I saw that I didn’t have enough disk space at the new hosting provider, but after I upgraded to more (enough) disk space, I still get the same error.

Any help will be much appreciated!

    Adding some information:

During the validation process, I get 1 notice in “Database Version”:

    STATUS

The current database engine is?[MySQL 5.7.41]?while the host database engine was?[MariaDB 10.4.29].?In some cases this might cause problems with the migration.

    Hi @pelgrimrat,

    Thanks for contact Duplicator support.

You are trying to migrate the website from an old MySQL version to a new MariaDB version.

This would cause problems for the migration. To fix this, you need to change the destination server database engine to MySQL, and please make sure that the MySQL version is close to 5.7.41.

    I hope this helps.

    Thanks!

    Hi @mohammedeisa ,

    Thank you for your reply!

Fortunately, I was able to resume the move of the website after I cleared my browsers cache and ran the installer.php again.

    Kind regards,
    Maarten
