JSON error, cant post or save drafts

    Hello everyone,
    I recently came across an issue with my site that made me unable to post, or save drafts.
    The error goes as follows “the response is not a valid JSON response”
    I’ve changed my permalinks (both in WP and Yoast SEO), disabled all my plugins, reverted my theme back to twenty twenty-one, reset my .htaccess file, purged all my cache, disabled HSTS, enabled debug mode, reset the REST API, reverted back to WP 5.7.2 (currently using 5.8) and I’ve had no luck.
    The only thing that has allowed me to post again is by using the classic editor, which I don’t want to use as I prefer the block editor.

    Does anyone know how to fix this?

  • @promohipcom I think you will need to contact your hosting for this. If you are on apache, there is a security module called mod_security that blocks WordPress related triggers citing as malicious. You will need to ask them to whitelist mod_security related triggers. It will be fixed.
