CSS /JS Minify Error keeps on flashing on Admin Dashboard

  • I keep on getting this error:

    Recently an error occurred while creating the CSS / JS minify cache: No sources to serve.

    I am unable to find how to fix it and whether it is due to some wrong settings done on my part or this awesome plugin just don’t work with the latest version of WordPress ??

    I’ve seen a few old thread about this but no solution. In on thread Frederick said it would be fixed in a future version. That was a year ago, and obviously it’s not fixed.

    I’m still awaiting response from the Plugin Author to get it resolved or are there any fellow developer who know about the root cause of it or observing the same issue? Your help is sought & appreciated.

    I have also recently starting getting this same error message daily. I do not have the CSS minify enabled, only JS.

    Would love to know if this is a bug in the plugin or something going on with my site.

    Its been over 3 weeks now but didn’t heard anything from the Plugin Author… This is a serious issue coming with the plugin, please be kind and let us know what could be done in order to rectify this error.

    yeah I get loads of these errors constantly

    its a bug that has been round for years that the dev team say to ignore

    but it is hard to ignore the constant emails and notifications that pop up

    and also the memory leak my server seems to have that I can’t put a finger on what it is… other than the fact that there is a bug in this plugin that hasn’t been fixed.

    Same here, I′ve sent several reports about it and what bugs me, is that there is not even a reply.

    Maybe the authors do care about the issue, maybe they don′t, but it would be nice for us to know…

    They have said in the past that it is nothing to worry about and will be fixed in the next update

    that was 2 years ago.. few updates since and no fix

    they don’t seem to be active on the WP forums or anything

    tbh I wouldn’t be surprised if the plugin dies (becomes unsupported by WP) and we end up using something else.

    I was thinking of switching to WP super cache… although I was advised for my VPS Varnish would be the best.. but that hasn’t been updated in ages…
