    Hello,

pretty much what the title says:
When I pick the dates on the dashboard as a logged in affliate partner to view statistics for a certain timeframe, Chrome pauses the execution with the error:
    SyntaxError: Unexpected token ‘<‘, “<br />
This is in relation to script-front-end-vanilla.js line 1030.

What can be done about that?
    Thanks in advance!

    Cheers,
    Florian

    Hey @irrlichtsammler,

Thank you for reaching out! I have just tested this functionality and it’s working nicely on my end. Also, we do not have any other reports about this issue from our users, so I believe the problem is localized.

To help solve this issue, can you please check the response of the AJAX call that’s being made? The call is made to the “slicewp_action_ajax_apply_affiliate_dashboard_filters” action. If you can provide a screenshot with the response, I may be able to offer more details.

The screenshot may contain information that you may not want to share publicly. Considering that this is a public forum, you may want to contact us privately via our website to share the screenshot, here:?https://slicewp.com/contact/

    Thank you and best wishes,

    Mihai

    Hi Mihai,

thank you for your quick response. Public is fine, since I only created this affiliate for testing after it was reported by our partner.

Here you can see the error thrown after selecting a date range on the dashboard.
    Thank you for your help!

    Hey Florian,

Thank you for sharing this screenshot! Before anything else, please make sure that you have the latest SliceWP version installed.

If this does not help, please navigate in the console to the “Network” tab. Then, select again a date range in the dashboard. In the “Network” tab, look for an admin-ajax.php request, with the action “slicewp_action_ajax_apply_affiliate_dashboard_filters” as shown in this screenshot:

Then, for the request, navigate to the “Response” tab and share the information provided there, as shown in this screenshot:

Additionally, can you please let me know if this is happening if you change your website’s language to English? I’ve tried with both English and German and it worked normally, but I just want to make sure.

    Thank you and best wishes,

    Mihai

I have to test the language later and I let you know if this changes anything.
    Thank you so much!

    Hey @irrlichtsammler,

Thank you for sharing the screenshot! I see that there’s an “Undefined variable” error in the response. However, the error is cut off in the screenshot.

Can you please scroll to the right in the response and send a new screenshot? The line number where the undefined variable is triggered should be shown in the error message. I’d like to check the exact line and examine why the error appears.

    Thank you and best wishes,

    Mihai

Right, I should have seen this. It says:
    /plugins/slicewp/includes/base/affiliate/functions.php on line 1161

    Thank you!

    Hey @irrlichtsammler,

Thank you for sharing this information! Unfortunately, I was not able to replicate the issue regardless of PHP version.

Nevertheless, after inspecting the code, I believe there is a way of handling the code better for this particular call.

A fix for this issue should be available sometime this week.

Thank you so much for reporting this issue and also for all of the information you’ve provided!
