JS not working with wordpress 5.5.1

    I have updated the wordpress to 5.5.1, but it seems like the javascript on the pages is not getting executed.

    deactivate all plugins, revert to default theme.

    if the problem goes awway, it’s not wordpress, it’s a theme or plugin issue.

    if the problem does go away, reactive your chosen theme. if the problem resumes, it’s your theme. if the problem doesn’t resume, begin activating plugins one by one and see if the problem returns.

    if the problem returns after activating plugin x then you know that’s the problem. ??

    many plugins and themes implement JS but they don’t all use the same versions depending on how recently they’ve been updated by their developers…
