Our HubSpot JS form code is not loading within the Popup. I’ve also tried other JS and nothing is working. It seems to convert it to HTML instead. This issue is across several sites.

    Dear @bobbiermckee,

    Thank you for your topic.

At the moment, we are not sure we completely understand the issue.

For further investigation of your case, we would like to ask you to provide us with the following information:

    1. What Version of the Popup Box plugin you are using?
    2. Send us the HTML and let us know in which option you are adding it.

If possible, please send us also screenshots where the given issue will be visible.

Looking forward to hearing from you soon.
    Thank you.

I have moved this to a testing page.
    https://yourmembersstg.wpengine.com/test/

    Popup version 3.7.3
PHP Version 8.2 and tried 7.4
    WordPress theme Twenty Twenty-One
    All plugins Disabled

The JS within the popup does not convert to JS. If you look at the page source, it’s converting to HTML and not JS.

If I add a basic JS test to the page builder, it works. If I add it to the Popup, it does not work.

Click on the words Download Whitepaper and you will see the popup with garbage and not a form. There is on-page JS test below it showing JS does work on page.

I’m unable to add the code here.

    Dear @bobbiermckee,

Thank you for your reply and for the provided information.

Regarding your request, I would like to note that there was a security issue after fixing which the given error occurs.

We will consider adding a Custom JS option, where you will be able to add your JS.

We will let you know in case of adding this feature in one of the upcoming updates.

In case of any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.
    Thank you.

We use your popup throughout multiple sites and it is broken everywhere. We cannot wait for this to be fixed. Can this be addressed ASAP?

    Dear @bobbiermckee,

    Thank you for your response.

To reach your desired result you can add a custom JavaScript on your theme if you want to use the latest version.
Or you can roll back to the 3.7.0 version of the Popup Box plugin until we will find another solution.

Check again and let us know about the outcome.
    Thank you.

Great. Where can I get the old version? Or if you know what JS to add, I can try that as well.

    Dear @bobbiermckee,

    Thank you for your response.

My apologies for the late reply – weekends are non-working days for us.

Concerning your request, I would like to mention that you can use a rollback plugin. (You can try this one: WP Rollback)
After that, you will be able to use the 3.7.0 version of the Popup Box plugin, which will work based on your requirements.

We will notify you as soon as your mentioned feature will be added.

Please, check and let us know if you have any other questions.
    Thank you.

Bobbie, I am like you and use JS in my pop up box and I used the rollback plugin to set pop up box to 3.7.0 and confirm JS code then works fine in that
