    This site is a duplicate of https://www.greenpearls.com – in the original, AO nicely combines all css and js, in the duplicate, which is run on a different server at a different provider, AO just minifys, but doesn’t combine the js anymore. The contents, settings and plugins of those sites are identical, just the URLs differ, obviously.
    What’s even more strange: While I’m logged in, it’s combining nicely, but once logged out, it doesn’t.

    The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    I think page caching is interfering, clear all of it maybe (also at hosting provider level)?

    1. Deactivate Cache Enabler
    2. Test again
    3. Enable Cache Enabler > Deactivate its optimization checkbox
    4. Try to re-configure AO carefully
    See if it helps.

    you’re right, it’s caused by cache enabler, when it’s deactivated AO works fine.
    but what could be the problem? the exact same combination works fine on the original site.

    Maybe timing of cache! Containing old file or path! (Not sure)

    When things like this happens, sometime flushing permalink also works.

    hmm. not related to cache enabler (which is currently deactivated) is another issue: AO only combines the files if i don’t use the exclude list. the original site excludes: “seal.js, jquery.js, fusion, refresh, Chart.min.js” – and still combines the scripts and the site works fine. with the very same settings, the duplicate only minifies all the js files without combining.

    I was not able to repro the said issue.

    You can see in this video, installed Cache Enabler, removed exclusion files seperated by commas, then tested either AO is working or not. All looks fine at my end.

    * Create a staging site
    * Take a backup first, maybe via UpdraftPlus
    * Try checking over different theme

    well, after further tests i can only say that AO is the problem in this case – cache enabler works fine with other minification tools like Fast Velocity Minify, which combines the files even when the cache is active.
    didn’t had problems with AO in the original site, but that doesn’t help much for the new site.

    What was process of further tests? Please clarify a bit.

    Was it like this ..
    * Create a staging site
    * Take a backup first, maybe via UpdraftPlus
    * Try checking over different theme

    or just assumption?

    never seen AO clash with cache enabler before, but and AO seems not to be active now, so hard to troubleshoot I’m afraid rocky_beach ..

    (@rocky_beach)

    i’ve activated it once again for you to see. current state is minified, but not combined.

    in between, i even had the state that it didn’t even minify when i wasn’t logged in. as said before, same settings as in greenpearls.com, where it’s working fine.

    At this site, all looks normal

    AO can’t touch 3rd-party JS. A single JS fusion one might be done to prevent some known conflict!

    Rest, seems ok.

    You can disable *HTML* minification in Cache enabler, because AO can do it very well…

    really? you did a screenshot from greenpearls.com…
    that’s what the whole thread is about, that it’s fine at this url and at the clone p477427.webspaceconfig.de it is not…

    Have a look, took full screenshot https://i.imgur.com/Ej9R58U.png
