Hi — we seem to be having a problem with a conflict with JS and I have it narrowed down to the registration form causing a JS error with our header menu. On the page: https://sportlaw.ca/webinar-series/ the mobile menu does not work.

If remove the form shortcode for the Webinar then the menu is mobile as it is supposed to be.

I do see an error in the debugger : TypeError: $(…).validate is not a function

But not sure where that is coming from. Can you please help? Thank you!

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Just wanted to follow up and see if 4.0.2 resolved issue for you. Please let us know. Thanks!

Unfortunately no, I commented on another thread that noted thee website broke when I updated it with the new version. Just a white screen of death.

OK – I tried again and it works now — but when I click REGISTER NOW nothing happens. It should redirect to Paypal and it does not. It did on the previous version just fine. You can test here: https://sportlaw.ca/webinar-series/

Ok, thanks for update. Looking at it now and will update ASAP. I got email that you posted comment on other thread, but when I visit that page, I don’t see your comment. Is it visible to you? It seems the www.remarpro.com forum has been very buggy the last several months – zero or sporadic email notifications to threads I’m subscribed to and weird things like the above mentioned “invisible” comment. Not sure what’s going on ??

Well that is weird, my comment WAS there earlier but it it not now. I do not use these forums too often so maybe they don’t like me! ?? Thanks for taking a peak…..appreciate the help!

Are you able to send temporary access to [email protected] so we can investigate on your site? If you don’t want us doing it live, we can take a backup and test locally, but we can’t duplicate the register button not working on our dev servers. Let me know…

Email sent — checking on my server error logs too….thank you.

Thank you. Can you email temporary FTP access too?

It appears you’ve made customizations or modifications to the plugin for https://sportlaw.ca/webinar-series/

If so, do you know what they are, and can you list them here (or email them)?

We created test page with just the shortcode and the redirect to PayPal appears to be working fine: https://sportlaw.ca/test-page/

Let me know if you can shed light on any customizations to the webinar-series page. Thanks!

We have made no edits or customizations to the plugin – all we did was install it. The page is built using Advanced custom fields as post types……don’t worry about it though. If it is working every where else, then may be it your shortcode does not like being in a custom field. I will test it out a different way. Thanks.

Ok, thanks for clarifying. I would like to get to the bottom of it though ?? To confirm:

    1) the webinar-series page was working fine prior to updating the GoToWP version, correct?
    2) No change has been made to webinar-series page, other than GoToWP update, correct?

    Thread Starter Jill Caren

    (@jcarenoptonlinenet)

Actually the shortcode is not working on any page on the website. I even tried it on a brand new page at: https://sportlaw.ca/5531-2/

It still does not direct to Paypal

…and yes, correct on both of your questions above. We would never modify a plugin…..and nothing changed in the code.

    Strange! Hang tight…

Found problem. Bug in Copy Shortcode button is dropping ‘webid’ to ‘id’ which is causing issue. Also, conflict with G2M integration. Fixing and will update another version ASAP. Apologies and thanks for your patience!
