    you can disable jQuery in the plugin-settings. If you do so jQuery will be loaded by wordpress. In your case in your footer.

    Thanks for the quick response Somutech. If I disable jQuery in the plugin settings, it won’t load the social buttons, because the jQuery gets called after the plugin’s javascript. Is there a way to fix this?

    You need to load jQuery earlier. Not in footer. That makes no sense.
