    Hi,
Thanks for creating helpful plugin WP community…
    I have one question…
I run my page at Google speed insight and it said that there are some unused external js files loaded in my front page (from fb, getresponse, google map, etc…) but when I came and checked in the Assets list, none of them show up there.
I am not sure why it that so any help would be much appreciated…
    Thank you,
    Q.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

@quyle I’m glad you like the plugin, hopefully, you will use it in the long term. As for having those scripts visible in the CSS/JS manager list, these ones are usually hardcoded (not enqueued the standard way), hence, they are only showing in the hardcoded list. You should be able to see them there. To manage them, you need the Pro version.

PS: Your website does not load. Are you sure the address is correct? Please double-check that!

    Hi Gabe,
    Thanks for your reply…
I’ve double checked it in the Assets list, but none of them show up anywhere there.
Here is the list for more details: https://giaiphapit.com.vn/wp-content/uploads/2020/10/Screenshot_2020-10-08-home-giaiphapit-com-vn.png
I also installed the plugin in another site: https://sukhavati.xyz
Google speed test reported this file (from Autoptimize cache folder): https://sukhavati.xyz/wp-content/cache/autoptimize/css/autoptimize_17b0f57e05486e7ce5028b6e288766c3.css
as unused css but it did not show up in the Asset list either…
Can you pls help me make it out?
    Regards,
    Quy

@quyle That explains it! The asset you mentioned is already optimized by Autoptimize. Asset CleanUp only shows the assets before they are altered by any other plugin. It shows the files from their original source (not minified or altered in any way later on) as that’s how it should be.

If, for instance, there are 10 CSS files loading on a page, you can mark for unloading 4 files that are not needed. Autoptimize will take the remaining 6 that are loading and create the optimized file in the /wp-content/cache/autoptimize/ directory. The same thing is done by other plugins that have the same purpose. Even Asset CleanUp Pro has a minify/combine feature. I hope it makes sense!
