js error in edit post /page

Hi Sam,

That usually happens when another plugin is loading jQuery incorrectly.

Can you test whether it goes away when all other plugins are deactivated?

I can’t deactivate at this moment all plugins because it’s a live site.
I can do it when there is no traffic in the site.

I deactivated only the Easy Digital Downloads plugin for a moment and the error was gone, however I still have problem in the page (Can’t work with the editor).
I suspect something wrong with my theme.
Last week I switched the theme with Twenty Sixteen and then I was able to work with the editor.

I guess something wrong with the jquery of the theme, although in the source code of the page I couldn’t find any include of js file from the theme.

Ok it could really be caused by any number of those.

The only way to track it down will be to deactivate each plugin one by one until we find the conflict.

If necessary since it’s a live site, put the site into maintenance mode temporarily while you do it.
