JS error for Color/Label Variations

  • When adding or saving a custom attribute to a product (using latest WooCommerce), there’s this JS error in the console log:

    Error: Option 'ajax' is not allowed for Select2 when attached to a <select> element.

    After that, the round spinner keeps spinning forever and I can only refresh the page.

    This error is well documented, here and here.

    Will this be fixed soon?
