JS error

    A JS error upon activation breaks site:

    In the console I see:

    Uncaught IntegrationError: Please call Stripe() with your publishable key. You used an empty string.

    Is it possible to fix this? – Simply by not calling Stripe() if the Stripe publishable key isn’t entered?

    Hi there,

    In order to not call Stripe, you should un-select it from the list of Payment Gateways at Donations > Settings > Payment Gateways within the GiveWP interface. Any time you are using it, you should have connected to Stripe, which will make this console error go away.

    I agree that having a JS error on install is not ideal, but it’s not visible on the front end without enabling developer tools, and it’s indicating an actual problem with the site that should spur folks to enable Stripe fully or to remove it from the list of available gateways.
