    Hey guys.

I made a custom container block using Genesis Custom and its ‘Inner Content’ field.

Problem is JS doesn’t appear to work correctly when added to this field. Case and point: both this custom button (made using JS) and a WP Form won’t display. You can see examples here under the heading “Join the Newsletter”: https://stageteachmis.wpenginepowered.com/ralph-workshop-post

    Any idea what’s going on?

    Hi @ralphcopeiv,

    Thanks for letting me know.

That’s intentional, as we’re escaping the inner blocks.

    Still, that doesn’t help you.

Would you be able to add a Core Custom HTML block somewhere else in the page with the JavaScript?

Hey Ryan thanks so much for getting back to me about this.

If you look directly below the custom block in question, you will actually see instances of the two examples that should be displayed. They are the form and JS button: https://prnt.sc/BHgXiXAtOJag

Will these help troubleshoot the issue?

    Hi @ralphcopeiv,

    Thanks for that link.

Unfortunately, I don’t think I can fix this in Genesis Custom Blocks.

We can’t allow JavaScript inside Inner Content, for security reasons.

Though I know that leaves you with a non-working block.

Ok thanks for letting me know and looking deeper into this Ryan.
