JS conflict causing product image issue

    Hi,

    I am helping out a client and their theme dev asked to seek your help as he found that your JS conflicts are causing issue with product gallery image.

    To replicate:

    Please check the product link found in the linked file. Please try selecting a colour other than default (eg: red) and you will find that the product image does not change to corresponding related image (red t-shirt). (Each product attribute has related image).

    On de-activating your plugin, it works normally once more. You can be sure about the js conflict part as person in concern is a dev and from clients past experience is very honest.

    Can you please help us remove the conflict so that we can change image as per attribute.

    This sounds more like an issue with the active theme. Does this issue happen if you switch to a default theme like Twenty Seventeen and disabling all plugins except for WooCommerce and Stripe?

    Hi,

    Please allow me some time and I will get back to this issue. I got stuck with a bigger issue with a project and I will update this as soon as I get time to test.

    In short, I changed button style to ‘default’ and it caused much improvement by probably loading updated codes. I will need to test the issue once more and detail the replication steps if I find it still exists.

    Hi,

    Sorry to open this after 4 months. The site never needed variable products until this week when we needed to put in production some variable products.

    The same issue persists ie. product images wont change on selecting attributes. Now in console there is a script error which points to your plugin and indeed on deactivating your plugin the issue goes away and guess what, without your plugin no money ??

    Hence, I am in touch with theme dev who asked to contact you as he thinks the issue is on your end. However he is actively looking into it to see if he can do anything meanwhile.

    UPDATE: theme dev requested time to analyze issue more deeply today. I will update here if indeed your plugin code needs a fix.

    If he says for sure to contact you to fix, I will continue here. If he issues fix related to your plugin, I will share it here for benefit of other users ??

    Issue is resolved. The theme dev issued a fix to bypass the conflict ??
