jQuery Zoom not initiating unless cursor moves out of the gallery and comes back

    Hi,

    I have an issue with the Gallery Image Zoom.

    The product images I’m using are somewhat large. When user changes the image from the thumbnails (or variation), jQuery Zoom loads the ‘large’ image for the zooming effect and the zoom itself gets triggered by on ‘mousemove’.

    The problem is that before the image could get loaded, the user has already moved the cursor on to the gallery image. So the on ‘mousemove’ never gets triggered unless the user moves the mouse out of the gallery and then back on the image again.

    Is there a way we can add a loader to the zoom effect that waits for the large image to load and then trigger the zoom effect?
