I’m having quite a lot of difficulty dragging and dropping items to create nested (child / parent) groups in invoices and estimates. It’s honestly the one thing that’s keeping me from purchasing this item. Right now it is such a pain to drag items and get them to sit as a child of another item that I’m almost ready to throw in the towel.

Anyone else have this issue? I’ve tried Chrome, Firefox, and IE. No luck.

    Hello Sharon,

I’m really sorry to hear you’re having issues. It’s something I’m looking into revamping in a future release because it’s a real problem if a few people (out of hundreds) can’t get it to work properly the first time.

Have a look at this short video – https://s-v.me/buVz
I’m using Chrome in the video but I have the same experience in Safari.

If you were to drag an item directly right it should get set as a child item, even bringing it up and to the right will get it hooked up. The real problem is dragging an item down, instead when I’ve found myself in this position I move the item(s) up. Not moving items down without a struggle is the issue I experience, is yours different?

I worked on this a little bit this morning and I believe I’ve improved the sorting quite a bit. If you wouldn’t mind here’s a version with my changes – https://s-v.me/buLC

I won’t tell you exactly what I changed intentionally, since I’d like to get your honest opinion first. Just make sure you refresh your browser cache.

    Thank you!

I don’t know what you did, but it now performs exactly as the video you loaded the comment before! I tried in all 3 browsers, and it’s working wonderfully! Thanks so much for making that adjustment ??

I also wanted to mention, I can’t tell you how awesome it is that your customer support is so top-notch. One thing that drew me to trying out this plugin was the amount of “resolved” notices next to the support requests. That’s amazing and wonderful to see!

    Fantastic news.

Yeah, thanks. I try really hard on the support here because it shows how we handle support is for customers.
