• I am using a responsive Genesis theme for my website. Unfortunately, after adding my own logo it is not reacting responsively so I added the Genesis Responsive Header plugin. I also use the JQuery Vertical Accordion Menu plugin. In IE10, FireFox, Safari, Chrome my website menus function properly and look good. The logo is responsive also. In IE9 and below the header logo has become invisible and some of the menus have turned into lists. I deactivated all my plugins and discovered that it is the menu plugin that is causing my logo to disappear.

I need my logo. It gives the website it’s identity. I need the menus and the jquery plugin. It makes the website look better (instead of just an ordered list).

I don’t know if the conflict is just between the jQuery plugin and IE9 (and below) or if it’s between the jQuery Plugin and my theme. Or if the Header plugin is also part of the problem. The owner Lee Chestnutt of the jQuery Vertical Accordion Menu has not responded to my email, Nick the Geek owner of the Genesis Responsive Header says there is no conflict with his plugin.

I’m stumped. I don’t know what else to do. Find a new menu plugin, forget about identity, go with a plain ordered list menu, hope that someone out there can help?

Scheduled to go live on July 9.
