jquery issues and buddypress maps

    I have been battling the following far too long. I really need help from you folks:

    1) I have the slidedeck plugin installed but the slides won’t slide.From my research I found that I have the jquery thing loading twice or maybe more. Since I have no coding knowledge…can somebody direct me which line or function in the PHP files I need to remove to fix this issue?

    2) I have the buddypress maps installed. I want to display the maps in the static page. I could not find a short code or any option that would let me do that.

    Any help will be appreciated.
