jQuery Issue

Thanks again for a great plugin!
If I include the following script on a page that contains a calendar, I run into issues.
<script src="https://code.jquery.com/jquery-3.6.0.min.js"></script>For example, if I have the following setup, nothing happens when I click on an event.
Once I remove my script, clicking an event behaves as expected. I don’t have the issue if the action is instead performed when the form is submitted.
Is this because your plugin is also loading jQuery but it’s a version that is different to mine and so there is a conflict? Or is it something else?
I’m able to reproduce this issue on a fresh install of WordPress.

Sorry I cannot provide support for custom code. Basically, you should not include you own version of libraries that are already included in WP like jQuery. Overwise, their will be conflicts with WP, plugins and themes as you could experienced. You need to enqueue your JS file on the wp_enqueue_scripts hook (and / or admin_enqueue_scripts to load scripts on the backend) with the wp_enqueue_script function, and require “jquery” as a dependency. Similarly, you should use a prefixed handle for your custom code (e.g.: “myprefix-functions-js”), and on the contrary, a generic handle for third-party libraries that are not included in WP (e.g.: “fullcalendar”) (if by chance other developers use the same handle for the same library, there will be no conflicts.)
