Jquery is not working

More than likely, it’s because your theme is calling two separate copies of jQuery, and they’re conflicting with each other.

Thanks, but I can’t see where my other Jquery is being called. Functions.php possibly?

Either your themes functions.php file or a plugin you’ve recently installed is calling jQuery and is conflicting with your code.

You may be safer calling your scripts from your functions.php file using wp_enqueue_script. Using that function should make collisions between JavaScripts disappear.

Ok, I’ve added this into my functions.php code:

function my_init() {
	if (!is_admin()) {
		// comment out the next two lines to load the local copy of jQuery
		wp_deregister_script('jquery');
		wp_register_script('jquery', 'https://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1.3.2/jquery.min.js', false, '1.3.2');
		wp_enqueue_script('jquery');
	}
}
add_action('init', 'my_init');

And removed the reference to jquery in my header

But still no luck.
