jQuery error on WordPress 5.5.3 an 5.6

Hi,

I’ve got a JavaScript error with WordPress 5.5.3 and 5.6 :

Uncaught TypeError: e.indexOf is not a function
load jQuery
https://example.com/wp-content/plugins/reading-progress-bar/public/js/rp-public.js?ver=5.5.3:5
https://example.com/wp-content/plugins/reading-progress-bar/public/js/rp-public.js?ver=5.5.3:59
jquery-3.4.1.min.js:2:83689

Fixed by replacing
$(window).load(function() {
with
$(window).on('load', function(){
in /public/js/rp-public.js on line 5.
