    Dear support team,

    thanks for your really great plugin!

    However, with jQuery Migrate Helper, I receive the following deprecated messages, which (as far as I checked) weren’t reported in this forum so far.

    1. jQuery.fn.change() event shorthand is deprecated (/wp-content/plugins/user-submitted-posts/resources/jquery.usp.core.js)

    2. jQuery.fn.submit() event shorthand is deprecated (/wp-content/plugins/user-submitted-posts/resources/jquery.usp.core.js)

    3. jQuery.fn.click() event shorthand is deprecated (/wp-content/plugins/user-submitted-posts/resources/jquery.usp.core.js)

    Do you plan to correct this in one of your next updates?

    Thank you very much.

    Best regards

    Michael

    Glad to help.

    So the deprecated warnings only happen when you use the jQuery Migrate Helper plugin, correct?

    Thanks for your fast response! Great!

    Nevertheless, what is your message?

    Sure!

    Here is my message, it is a question for you:

    “So the deprecated warnings only happen when you use the jQuery Migrate Helper plugin, correct?”

    (@mitfi)

    Yes they do, as there’s no other tool installed that will do the job to identify deprecated code.

    Okay just wanted to make sure.

    I develop on default WordPress, where there are no jQuery issues.

    But I have it on the list to upgrade all jQuery scripts in all plugins. May take awhile though, thank you for your patience.

    Dear Jeff,

    that’s great news.

    I like your plugin a lot and I am aware that this is not a current problem but may become a future one.

    Thanks a lot for providing good and useful tools for our community!

    Best regards and take care
