• I’ve never had issue with this plugin, when I updated today to the latest version, jquery no longer worked anywhere in the site (I get “is not a function” for any jquery usage). When I disable this plugin, everything works.

  • I thought this plugin was packaged together its own version of jQuery?
Are you using/adding jQuery elsewhere on your site?
Are you still having the issue?

Yes, there’s a “jquery-plugins” folder in the plugin’s source, so presumably it bundles in its own version of jQuery… Maybe there’s a conflict elsewhere on your site.

this plugin to me is no longer updated and it does not work correctly; it is only visible in your backend, it will not show on pages or posts.

That’s not true. I’m currently running it (version 1.7.1) on a website with the latest WordPress 5.1 install, and it is visible & working on the frontend (to site visitors)…

You just have to be careful about how the plugin’s JavaScript code is optimized (or not), e.g.:

That said, this plugin could definitely still benefit from a fresh update! Thanks.
