    Hi,

I′ve used this plugin in several site previously with no problems so many thanks in advance to the author.

I was trying to use it on a WP4.0 site but it failed on activation and made the whole site crash. After removing it via FTP the site came back but I found that two other plugins are malfunctioning: “Revoution Slider” and “Responsive Menu”.

How is this possible if the plugin has been removed? How can I “fully” uninstall it so the other plugins can work again?.

    Thanks again.

If you deleted it via FTP there shouldn’t be anything left that it interacts with. The only other items remaining would be in the database – wp_options table – lightboxplus_options and lightboxplus_init but those shouldn’t have any effect on that.

There’s a beta release that should be 4.0 compatible if you want to give that a try. I have version 2.7 running on multiple WP4 sites with no issues but I know others are having problems.

Hi, thanks for your reply. I failed to mention I was working on a Windows server. As soon as I migrated to a Linux it was ok, don′t ask me how. I guess the lesson here is: don′t use Win for WP.

    Thanks again.

Ha ha. Ok, yeah, I’ve had some issue with jQuery on Windows and WordPress.
