JQuery Conflict:: Nivo Slider & UI Date Picker

  • Nivo Slider fails when both jquery.nivo.slider.js and jquery.ui.datepicker.js are loaded.

    This issue is not specific to this plugin and should probably be addressed by Dev7studios.

    But IMHO, Header Image Slider’s success depends on resolution of this issue as many other plugins use the JQuery UI Datepicker, notably Taylor Lovett’s über-popular Custom Contact Forms.

    In the meantime, if you’re happy to lose the datepicker and tooltips, simply change

    Custom Contact Forms -> General Settings -> Frontend jQuery: Disabled.

    That way both CCF and the slider will happily work together.

    Does anybody have a solution to this problem?
