• On my site, https://viewofthedrew.com, I’ve installed Jquery Colorbox and it refuses to work now with my Top Nextgen Gallery widget despite setting the setting marked

“Automate jQuery Colorbox for all other images:
Automatically add colorbox-class to all images that are not in posts and pages (e.g. the sidebar).”

It seems like this problem developed after installing WordPress 3.2 =(.

Ok so I downgraded to WordPress 3.1.4 and it works now. (Very scary to downgrade by the way but I used this tutorial and it was helpful, https://mrinternettips.com/how-to-downgrade-wordpress-version/)

There seems to be an issue with WordPress 3.2 and this plugin, everything will work except that “automate jquery colorbox for all other images” setting.

I have to be careful if I ever want to go to WordPress 3.2 later on.

I have a similar problem with version 4.1 after upgrading to WordPress 3.2: clicking on a thumbnail in a sidebar widget used to trigger a colorbox, but now it directly loads the original image.

I also have the “Automatically add … images that are not in posts” option selected. I re-selected it and re-saved the settings, but the problem persists.

I can confirm it is still not working with WordPress 3.2.1. Hopefully we hear from the developer soon.

    Hi,
apparently I broke the “all other images” functionality in the latest version 4.1 ??
I already know what is wrong and how to fix it, but I am having trouble updating the development version of the plugin because I am on a business trip with limited internet access. I’ll see what I can do later today.
    Cheers,
    Arne

Ah, thank you Arne! No problem good to know for me it has enough time since I know the issue is known ??

That’s good enough for me as well. We’ll hang tight on 3.4.1 until ya fix it. JQuery Colorbox and Nextgen are my top plugins. I love how the colorbox can resize to fit whatever window. Works well on an iPad as well.

    Hi,
I just updated the development version with a fix that should work with jQuery Colorbox 4.1 and WordPress 3.2.
At least it works on my test installation ??

Could one of you test it?
    You can get it here:

    Arne

Thank you Arne, for your great service!
Unfortunately, the new version didn’t fix that… Deactivated/ re-activated the plugin, saved settings but doesn’t work yet for these special pictures (sidebar etc.) – it doesn’t add the proper class/tag of colorbox to the images/links. But thanx again!

Have a nice Sunday, dave ??

    Hi,
actually, I forgot to update the minified JavaScript in my last commit.
    Could you test again?
    Cheers,
    Arne

Oh, thank you Arne!! This version fixes it – just working perfectly! Thanx so much ??
    -dave.

It works for me, too! Thanks so much.

Works again with this version! 100% with WP3.2.1. Now I’m running the newest version of WordPress AND my favorite plugin. Thanks Arne! I was a bit scared to be the first guinea pig.

Next step I guess is just finalize the version and get it up for everyone.

    I’m buying you a beer.

Very nice! I’m running WP3.2.1 and the dev copy you just released does in fact work properly in the sidebar. You can check out the site here: https://www.meyermed.com

Hi. I cannot get the widget running. Please read my issue on GitHub for more details.
