    Hi Albert,

I installed your plugin on another website that I maintain, and when I check in devtools’ network tab, it doesn’t indicate the jpg’s are being replaced by webp versions. The image urls points to PhastPress, so that is as expected, but all jpg images are still marked as being jpg. Do you know why?

Also I had some problems with broken js and found in console “Uncaught SyntaxError: unexpected token: identifier”. After disabling concatenation of js I saw it was reported about the js that is loaded by Google’s site kit, so I had to disable (strange, since I run that plugin on the other site too).

With site kit disabled, it all seems to work again, but I would like the images to be replaced by webp versions, since the website uses a lot of images. Can you help?

    Thanks,

    Hans

    Hi Albert,

I disabled Pahstpress on this website for now, since at some point I noticed images weren’t loading anymore and more stuff. Perhaps this website is to fragile to mess with. With wp-rocket I had problems before too. There it was the critical css generation that broke the layout.

I need to test more thorough before trying again. But that will be for later.

    regards, Hans

    Hi @hanswitteprins,

There might have been a conflict with another optimization plugin, or an issue with your hosting server causing images not to be loaded. (PhastPress loads each image through a PHP script, and if there’s a limit on the amount of script executions, that can cause issues.)

If you try PhastPress again and experience issues in future, I’d be happy to help.

I will let you know when I retry and still have this problem. Thanks for the suggestion.
