    Did you turn on ‘remove metadata’? You will not get the results they list without doing that.

    No, I didn’t. But when I turn it on, it only affects future image uploads right? I have tried to turn it on and later I had run bulk compression for existing images and still those images aren’t compressed.

    You would need to re-run the Bulk Optimize with the ‘force re-optimize’ checkbox turned on.
