    Smush.it can process JPG, GIF, and PNG images that are up to one megabyte in size so please check whether those images are up to one megabyte in size.

    Could you please also try directly smushing the images using the following Yahoo Smish.it service by copying the image URLs from your site in to following service and let us know how it works for you?
