• Having used and developed for a premium plugin before, SiteOrigin was a breath of fresh air. Before I looked at SiteOrigin, quite honestly, I disliked page builders. They were cumbersome to use with modals at every step, highly bloated plugin that tries to do too many things, jumbled post content actually made life miserable. SiteOrigin does have modals but it all feels much more intuitive specially with the help of repeater field blocks that open inline.

SiteOrigin feels lightweight with great code behind and developing widgets with the help of your widgets bundle(another fantastic plugin) is a joy. Thank you!

    One suggestion –

Any way the content can be automatically saved when the user hits done in the widget edit screen and when the user reorders widgets? Would be quite helpful since the user will need to otherwise remember to hit update after multiple done clicks. Auto update would be a huge plus.

    Hi livemesh

Thanks so much for the very awesome review. It means a lot ?? Quick and light weight is definitely something we’ve been aiming for with this plugin.

I agree that auto saving is a great user experience, but when it comes to WordPress, it can be quite difficult. Especially if you want to integrate with things like the WordPress post revisions system, which is really important. I’ll keep this idea in mind though.
