Join Groups Shortcode Doesn’t Render

    I can’t get the [groups_join group=”x”]shortcode to show the button to join.

    I use Thrive Theme but other shortcodes from other plugins work – like WooCommerce.

    Is there something else I need to do to get it to show?

  • Hi,

    Although I can’t be 100% certain since you are using a premium theme, there might be an option in theme settings to allow shortcode rendering. Perhaps WooCommerce shortcodes are automatically supported without further action needed.

    Please do the following in order to make sure there is no issue.
    Enable WP debugging and visit the page having the shortcode.
    If the shortcode still doesn’t render properly, try adding another Groups plugin shortcode.
    If you still don’t get anything displayed and there is nothing logged in the debug.log file, then I think you should ask Thrive support as well in case there is a special setting for shortcodes in general.
