    Hi,

I’ve had your plugin, the jobify themeand a host of other WP Jobs Manager plugins all working correctly on my site but after I updated everything today I’m unable to access the Widgets or Customise sections of the WP Admin. I’ve gone through de-activating all plugins and this issue only occurs when WP Jobs Manager is activated. When I de-activate this both features come back. Widgets seems to only load a small portion of the page and Customise goes to a custom field screen?

The site isn’t live at the moment (it’s hidden behind an under construction plugin) but I’m happy to email logins if you can let me know where to send them to. I wasn’t sure whether to contact you or the Jobify support (let me know if you think it’s something I should be raising with them).

    Thanks,

    James

    Hi James,

Ensure you’re using at least Jobify 2.0.4.4 as this is the version with compatibility.

    Thanks

    Hi,

Thanks for the quick reply, I’m not sure what version of the theme I was using before but I upgraded it to the latest version 2.0.4.6 and that version definitely isn’t working.

    Thanks,

    James

If the update didn’t help, enable WP DEBUG and see if you get a useful error message on the screen that gets cut off.

Okay when I enable the debug feature strangely both those sections load however I see these errors on all admin pages:

Notice: Trying to get property of non-object in /home/lobsterj/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wp-job-manager-simple-paid-listings/wp-job-manager-simple-paid-listings.php on line 201

Notice: Trying to get property of non-object in /home/lobsterj/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wp-job-manager-wc-paid-listings/wp-job-manager-wc-paid-listings.php on line 116

When I go into the “Customise” section I then see these:

Notice: Trying to get property of non-object in /home/lobsterj/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wp-job-manager-simple-paid-listings/wp-job-manager-simple-paid-listings.php on line 201

This is the problem but makes no sense because that widget is not loaded in admin. Please send details to wpjobmanager.com/support/ so I can look into this further. Its a premium plugin and should not be supported on this forum. Thanks!
