    Hi,
we’ve set about putting this plugin into use replacing the old Bullhorn branded version.

How do we set the search function and job details to use your templates or indeed custom ones that we create. Currently when we put search into use it defaults to /jobs/ and displays using the default blog archive style and jobs display as standard news items. Is there a setting we’ve missed somewhere to say ‘use matador’ php templates. I can see they exist in the templates folder just they never seem to be called.

    Thanks

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi!

This is Jeremy, one of the co-lead developers.

Its frustratingly difficult to override theme templates in a plugin, plus kinda risky too, so we avoid it! Matador’s templates are used by our shortcodes, and many people build pages with the shortcodes in leu of using the template hierarchy (jobs archive). Try to make a page called “jobs” and put the [matador_jobs] shortcode on it. If you want search to appear before that, put [matador_search] then a line break and [matador_jobs].

Here is more on our shortcodes and how to use them. https://matadorjobs.com/docs/developer/shortcodes/
