We have our jobs idexed. Espacially when it comes up to the google for jobs search its realy helpfull. We also set up the google indexing API. A little tough one to set it up correcly, but it helps

    Hi,

Or it’s detrimental as jobs expire?

We do add no-follow to expired jobs, actually, so this shouldn’t be a concern. Google knows to not index expired jobs.

Definitely would recommend it. We don’t receive a lot of traffic from Job Search on Google, but the traffic we do receive is high-value (i.e. they apply for the jobs listed at high percentages).

We also use the Matador Jobs Google Indexing API plugin that @braehler referenced above, which has worked really well (note that you need to list at least “City, ST” for the location of the job for it to work, in our experience, at least).

    Hi
We have received notification from search console regarding non availability of Google indexing API on our site.
They clearly mentioned to use API for faster indexing.
Also have seen a open thread on Git. But when ever that implements, I don’t know ????
