If you could take a look at this page. I am having some issues. They seem to be very random. As in on some computers on Chrome and Safari I can see the job listings, but on Firefox they try to load but never do. I don’t see any JS errors, and have gone through the settings everything looks fine.

However, on other computers it does the same thing where it tries to load but never loads anything even on Chrome and/or Safari. One weird thing to note is – I do have the W3 Total Cache plugin installed and when I clear the page cache it works on the first refresh, but then the second refresh it goes back to not displaying. I have tried just disabling the W3 Cache plugin all together but it does the exact same thing. I have also tried disabling any recent plugins to no success. It all worked fine for me 3-4 months ago.

This is loading fine for me; is there any specific way of reproducing the issue?

Did you happen to try it in Firefox? That’s where the issue seems to be happening most often. And it’s also always after the first refresh as in if I refresh the page they don’t work the second time.

Also I am using Firefox Version 39.0 on a Mac

I see it now. The ajax request is being 301 redirected https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/s/w3kkj084nco0jtd/2015-07-10%20at%2022.08.png?dl=0

If there is any caching at all, ensure that ajax endpoint is excluded.

Ah, that makes sense. I added the ajax endpoint and it’s working great now. Thanks for the fast response.

    joeriwetters –

Do you happen to use a caching plugin? Such as W3 Total Cache, if so than what you need to do is go into “Page cache options” then click on “Advanced” under advanced you will find a section called ‘Never cache the following pages:’ – This is obviously for the W3 Total Cache plugin. If using a different caching plugin you will need to find the area where you can exclude the cache for a certain page.

Once you have that, you will want to add the jm-ajax/get_listings/ ajax endpoint so that it does not cache it.

No caching plugin used so far.. It’s probably the theme (https://themeforest.net/item/colors-creative-portfolio-wordpress-theme/11471702) it loads the pages with Ajax, probably some conflict.. Any suggestions? I can’t see where it’s going wrong.. Much appreciated!

Yeah I actually don’t even see the Ajax request for get_listings anywhere in the headers. There has to be some kind of conflict going on there, did you happen to specify in the options for the WP Job Manager plugin the page that your [jobs] shortcode is on?

    (@joeriwetters)

Yeah did that and this is the one: https://www.filt.nl/senna/vacatures/
I tried a different theme (twenty fifteen) and it works.. But no idea what to do next.. ;/

Hmm, yeah don’t know if I will be able to help. Sounds like a JS conflict. Is there not a way in the theme to disable the ajax page load? It seems like it would have to be a trial and error thing to see what’s conflicting

Otherwise maybe the Plugin developer will have a better idea of what’s going on.
