Job Listing excerpt view?

Why would you type in the full description if you only plan on displaying a small excerpt?

Don’t think we’re on the same page. I want the job listings to show multiple jobs but not the full description. If a user wants to apply for a specific job then they’d click that job title to see full description. Something like you would see if search on Indeed or Monster.
