    Hi @eyeswiseopen,

Please set CHMOD 775 in the /wp-content/ directory and try to run the job again.
If that doesn’t work, try CHMOD 777 your wp-content. You can revert it to 755 after running your job.

    Hope that helps ??

    Have just tried it again
    No luck!

    The scheduled back up WORKS
But when I tried to run a manual backup I get
Job “123” has started, but not responded for 10 seconds. Please check information.

Could you show me some screenshots of your job setting?

I thought you should know I have the same settings for a long time, the issue started on the 12,13th of Feb across all my sites!

    – some have an identical set up (plugins theme)
    – Some are totally different (other themes other plugins)
    – Some sites update automatically with some updating only minor updates and some both major & minor updates
    – Some DO NOT update automatically and have not been updated for a while

ON ALL sites the backup was working just fine! UNTIL 12,13 Feb when the server was updated for ipv6 it created communication and scheduling issues with WordPress.com/org

cURL error 28: Operation timed out after 10000 milliseconds

Then Hosting co. suggested a patch mu-plugins folder with ‘curl-no-ipv6’ plugin which sorted out all the communication and scheduling issues with WordPress.com/org

The only thing that is still an issue, is the manual backup and when a scheduled backup is running, particularly the files back up it can take hours literally
I opened a job page this lunchtime to discover it still running since last night…

Hosting support suggested plugin conflict but I tested a variety of sites/different settings/plugins/themes where BackWPup was the only plugin and still got those errors.

So I am not sure where the issues are I appreciate this is not run of the mill ticket… if you have any ideas on how to resolve it you will make my day:-)

P.S Yes I can send you some screenshots – where to and how? I don’t see that I can attach anything here?

    Ziped folder of Screenshots here
Server support is saying they can not see any issues at their end

    @eyeswiseopen
Could you please try to run your job again and after that, give me the latest log file ( BackWpUp -> Logs )
I just want to check it if there is a log file created after your job started.

I am not sure what has happened – but things are back to normal again
thank you for all your help

I suspect it was to do with the changes made to the server which are now seem to be sorted out
