    Anyone have experience with using job alerts without having to have a job seeker logged in? Ideally the user would just enter their email address to subscribe to job alerts.

  • good day dear Westcan

    first of all: many many thanks for steppin up the plate with this question. I like this idea very very much.

    Note: this is a good question. According to your idea the user just need to add his E-mail-Adress and then afterward he is able to get job-alerts according his settings and ideas (note: hie has to configure a search interest – in other words he has to fill out what he is interested ni.

    eg. location / area
    job-profile
    etc. etx.

    Well to sume it up. i like this idea very very much and i am wondering if this is possible with the WP-Job-Manager – and with the Job-Alert Addon?

    alltogehter: Many thanks dear Westcan – for this interesting question.

    we look forward to a fruitful discussion and to idea-exchange.
    Have a great day

    @westcan.

    It’s currently not possible to do this with Job Alerts, as it requires a user account to work.

    That said, we do have an enhancement request for this feature currently open (and I’ve added this thread to the list of users who have requested it).

    I agree with you and @say_hello that it’s a great idea, although I can’t give you an ETA on when or if it will be implemented.

    Best,
    Cena
